Thears a green mommey
I said to myself
and there's a red mommey
and there's a purple mommey
and there's a tan mommey
and there is a my mommey
I gave her the first line, "I'll never tell you," and this is what she wrote:
I'll never tell you
wate I have not even
when you are bad
not even when you are good
So do not beg me

She was really a natural at poetry! Must have inherited that from you. I don't think I even started reading any poetry until a few years ago.
That was cute. What imagination. I have also saved a poem from my daughter Nicole that she wrote when very young.
Have a great day Susan.
Hugs,
JB
Thanks, Crystal and Julia. I came upon these poems last night while going through my children's artwork and school papers. We were very into arts, crafts, and writing at our house. I did a Christmas crafts party every year for my kids and their friends. So much fun!
Oh, these are wonderful.
"So do not beg me"--only a child who read a lot could have come up with that.
True, she was an avid reader. I taught all my children to read at age 3, mostly to give them something both exciting and quiet to do. :-)
