I planted Sweet Rocket (hesperis) 25 years ago, and it has planted itself every year since. It is classified as an invasive plant, and thus shunned by responsible gardeners. I love it.
I love it.
Beautiful photo :)
The best post of all time.
Aw, thanks, you three. The "delightful" conversation popped into my head for some reason this afternoon.
It took me a few seconds, but it made sense! Loved it!(I love the way children think too)
Funny. Is Gillian one of the blond princesses pictured?
Thanks, Dona and Bridgett. Helen, Gillian is the little one. My older daughter is Suzanne, who is now the mother of Lizzie, a college freshman. I'm a little older, too.....
It's a delightful story and picture, and I'm sure it's a delightful memory for you Susan.
It is, thanks, Helen. Fortunately, I have many. (Of course, like most mothers, I wish I'd written everything down.)
That's so sweet.
What a girl!
You know, she was right!
I guess I already told you I have two cousins who looked like that at that age, named Jill and Sue :)
Hello. And Bye.
Hello and bye? Hmmm . . . I'm going to guess this is Andzia, on her way to New Zealand (lucky girl).
