I'm not sure! This is my third attempt to create a blog, and I'm running out of titles. Sweet Rocket (hesperis, also called Dame's Rocket) is what I'm surrounded by this spring. I started some from seed many years ago, and they have self-seeded over and over--to the point where they fill one flower bed, surround the mailbox, provide some color near the trash cans, line the other side of the road, and pop up here and there in the backyard. I'm told they are an environmental hazard, choking out native plants. So I pull up clumps of them, but my efforts are halfhearted. Tall, pink, white, and lavender, night-scented, they are so beautiful.
