I planted Sweet Rocket (hesperis) 25 years ago, and it has planted itself every year since. It is classified as an invasive plant, and thus shunned by responsible gardeners. I love it.

Petunia
Mali reminded me that I hadn't posted the pic that won the DPReview Leica challenge last month. This is the one.
I tried to make it so that you could click on the image to see a larger version. But the blog server is getting weird, and kept posting the original large size (with most of the detail cut off).
I'm so glad to hear Wolfie is feeling better. I knew someone who had two cats and when one died I asked if they were going to get another to keep the first company, but they said no, that the cat that was left just blossumed on his own. Maybe you can do something with him indoors to take the place of winter walks, or is it the outdoor stuff that he especially likes?
Mali, I hope you realize that was taken with a superzoom. My new camera has been carefully unpacked and placed, with its lenses, in the new camera bag. But that was as far as I got with it when I got sick (kidney infection and shingles).
Love love love this one! so light and airy and OMG the purple...just enjoy Wolfie everyday and in every way that you can, the way he is enjoying you. Things have a funny way of working out....
I haven't been a very good blogger, have I? The shingles knocked me out of everything pretty well, but I'm okay now. Just busy. Wolfy is okay for now, at least. I had to increase one of his pain meds, and I still worry about how he'll do this winter. But all we can do is wait and see. Thanks for asking! You can see his latest pictures here:

Beautiful photo - the colors are very nice!

Oh yay, thank you Susan. That is a gorgeous photo. You're an inspiration to budding photographers, even those with a superzoom!

Thanks, you three! It's fun to share.

Andzia! How nice to see you here. I need to stop by soon. I've been off work for two weeks with shingles. Ugh. Much better now.
Susan, is all ok with you and Wolfy?
Hi Crystal,

Oh, that's a good photo of him ... deep in thought :)
Glad you're ok. Yep, it's been a bit lonely here in blogworld lately.
