My granddaughter took this picture of Chuck last night—with her phone! (Can someone tell me why Blogspot is now cutting off a third of horizontal [landscape] photos, turning them into vertical [portrait mode]?)

I planted Sweet Rocket (hesperis) 25 years ago, and it has planted itself every year since. It is classified as an invasive plant, and thus shunned by responsible gardeners. I love it.

I know....isn't it great? It reminds me of so many long, wonderful days spent on (and in) the water. My happy wet period.
Crystal, Blogspot didn't used to do this; it's only in recent months (like maybe 12 of them :-)) that I've noticed this.

Yup, Liz's phone is new, and like many of the newer phones, the camera is a cut above the older ones. For those who are contemplating an upgrade, I found out that her phone is an LG, and the model is enV Touch. Here's a link to CNET's review.
