Text Mess(age)

My cousin was excited about a special dinner date her daughter had this week with a new guy. Being a good, non-intrusive mother, she didn't call her daughter in the middle of it. Instead, my cousin sent her a text message. It read, DON'T EAT BEANS. CK TEETH FOR PARSLEY.

Problem is, she sent it to the wrong phone number. We have no idea who got the message on his or her cell. We can only hope it was taken to heart.

I'm impressed she knows how to text message.

Well, I guess she knows how to text message within limits.

PS: I should talk. I haven't text-messaged in so long that I've forgotten how to do it. (But if I did do it, I'm sure I'd send it to the right person.)

I've never text-messaged. That's why I'm so impressed. I've received a welcoming text message when I first got the phone, but I have no idea how it got there.

This is a hilarious date message!

Most of our cellphone bill is text messages - we'd all rather text than talk. I sometimes forget how to talk on the phone! ;-)

JHK, now MM and I know where to come for training. Hey, I think you should show this one to Helen. On second thought, it might instill fear that carries over to her first dinner date.

Brace yourself: I don't even have a cell phone.

Sadly, this means I was NOT the one to get this message.

That is sad. Did you need it?

Oh, I might very possibly have needed it!
